Our injury team recently won a four figure compensation payout for a young woman injured while on a night out.
The public liability claim was made after a young woman sustained a hand injury whilst having a drink with friends.
Claim case details:
Miss J, a young woman from Leicestershire was drinking in a bar with friends during the summer of 2012 when she sustained an injury to her hand.
A pitcher of drinks was ordered and her glass was then filled from the pitcher. Unfortunately as Miss J picked up her glass it shattered, cutting her hand causing her to require stitches. As a result of the incident Miss J sustained a scar to her index finger.
